Hello! My name is Dustin Blade

Hey everyone! Glad to be here at Broken D-pad. I am the music man of the group but I would say my drawing is alright. I hope to contribute some interesting perspectives about video games and music.

I am the old fart of the group too! When I was born Nintendo had only been out for almost two years. So I am happy to say I grew up with video games. (excluding all the ancient 70's consoles of course!)

Some of my friends wonder why I chose the pen name "Dustin Blade" to represent myself. To answer that question, it is actually related to video games! When I first got familiar with the internet, I wanted nothing more than to create a website that focused on my favorite gaming series of all time, Mega Man. I created the website Dustman's Domain and it had a HUGE collection of Mega Man Midis. (I did not create those midis) Dustman, one of the bosses from Mega Man 4, was my favorite character. I went by "Dustman" when I first started roaming the net. But the name was used by many people and it didn't stick out. I decided to combine my love for swords (that's right! When zombies take over I won't be RELOADING cause I don't like guns!) and my favorite video game character into my new nickname: Dustin Blade. And there you have it!
